Aleem Dar honoured by PCB

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt honours Aleem Dar with a souvenir along with Rs 500,000.

Aleem made his international debut as an umpire in 2000 and joined the Elite Panel of umpires in 2004.

Since then the smart Pakistani adjudicator, along with other international assignments involving different teams, has performed his duties in the Ashes, the game’s topmost Test series contest.

It is the first time that Aleem has received this award beating his colleagues on the Elite Panel of the ICC umpires Asad Rauf, Tony Hill and Australia’s Simon Taufel, the five-time ICC Umpire of the Year.
